Find Frugal Sites

Well with the economy doing what it is these days I am very glad that a few years ago we made a change in our lifestyle. We decided it was time to do things differently and it all revolved around finding frugal sites. That’s right we now actually enjoy frugal living.

At first, I will admit things were a bit difficult. We decided to live our own life instead of trying to compete with everyone else on having the biggest and nicest on the block. The frugal sites that we found however were quite clear on showing us how to live a quite comfortable and enjoyable life and still save quite a bit of money.

At times the difficulty came into play when trying to find other frugal sites. Oh sure there were lots of sites that offered savings and stuff like that but many of them were just ploys to get you involved in other things. We just wanted to find the down to earth sites that didn’t feed us any crap and did what they said they would. We did find a few but it was definitely proving difficult.

Of course I had plenty of my own ideas as well so one day I thought why not build that site that I am always looking for? I knew exactly what I wanted to find when I got to a list of frugal sites so I proceeded to work on building my own site that anyone would be welcome to use when trying to find ways to save and put money away. This proved to be the smartest thing I ever did.

Actually the smartest thing I did was add a forum to the site. This made things very interactive. It also gave me control so that only relevant discussions would be allowed. So now instead of looking for frugal sites I now had my own. I will admit that the site has taken a bit to take off but recently has really started to pick up.

So in essence I hope one day this will be one huge interactive forum where everybody works hard to help each other out.
